| I think that colour scheme is my favourite of the M800's (I very nearly bought that one over my C800) Love the way you've done the pipes mate - the stagger is spot on. I can see the pic was before you rode her - I bet they are nice a black inside now! Try the baffles out when you have had them on for a while - the sound will go a lot deeper and louder (very!). I only managed it like that for 3 days and then I chickened out and put the baffles back in. You may get better torque with them in mind. I'm running with no tail pipes at the moment as the sound has a bit more bite but I prefer the look with them in. My lower extension started to go a bit yellow after 200 miles - be interesting to see how yours go. How did you fix your end pipes on? | |

I to prefer them in to John, Ive wrapped the end of them with a heat proof tape (used in the construction of domestic cookers),two pieces was enough on eash extension, I will forward a pic. I smeared the wrapped end with exhaust jointing paste. They were that tight i nearly push my bike off it's stand forcing them on, so i hope they don't discolour. If they do i think i might wrap the exhaust with black exhaust tape . |

If you fancy giving the tape a go John i will gladly send you some, I'm hoping the combination of tape an paste will do the trick, (it stick's like sh/t to a blanket) . Cheers mate! I've got some metal tape which I have used to cover up the 'Not for road use' on my Harley Screamin Eagle pipes when I had to get an MOT done a couple of months back (it passed!!). It is heat resistant so I'll try it on the short extensions soon and see how it works. If not, I might take you up on that but thanks anyway for the idea and the kind offer! | |

| ...After what i thought was a lovely Breakfast, I was driving home to (Liverpool) from Kent in an old skip wagon, when the M1 car park stopped me in my tracks, then i was revisited by my Breakfast ,,,, "Daddy why is that man driving in the rain, snow, wind with all his windows open" . |
