New Member - VX800 owner from Miami

Hello from Miami (originally from Texas). I bought a 1990 VX800 with 7,500 miles. It is in near pristine condition for a 30+ year old bike. I will try to post a photo of my motorcycle, but in case I can’t it is maroon with the small OEM luggage rack.

This is my first motorcycle, so I’m sure that I will have lots of questions. The VX800 was only sold for the first 3 years in the US, so not too many people have even seen one of these in the states. I was able to find the OEM owners manual, service manual, and tool kit online. I have also purchased some extra tools as the OEM kit is very basic.

I am having one issue which might be a bad thermostat, but I’ll post about that in the appropriate sub forum.
