| Hi everyone Been a week or two since I've been on here, anyway update if Anyone's interested. Have been running around on my HH shortcuts for a few weeks now, I have fiddled around with the baffles no end and finally purchased some HH DB killers, ( longer than the ones supplied but open ended instead of closed) these are wrapped in Baffle packing and the idle sound is excellent. Still a bit of a bark on acceleration so I am thinking of closing off the open end to encourage the gases around the baffle material if that makes any sense? On the subject of rejetting, I ordered a dynojet kit from Hogparts, after 3 weeks and no communication I contacted them. They got back and told me they had ordered it but the company they ordered it from could not get it from the states. Back to the drawing board! Phoned Dynojet direct they were very helpful, they don't carry the part here in UK "as it's an American bike" anyway they've ordered it from the states and it arrived today. So I'll have to get this done in the New Year now. Watch this space! One last thing, the instructions on the kit says " for US spec bikes only " someone reassure me this is ok...... Please? | As for US spec bikes only if Dynojet UK ordered and supplied them they would be the best to reasure you give them a ring. | |

| Jet kit will be fine but be careful on how much you close the baffles up as you could end up with the right jetting ending up being wrong as you could potentially change the outward air flow so much that a smaller jet is required than was original intended for the setup that you have asked for | |

| Absolutely! I am going to make sure I'm certain about the baffle arrangement b4 I rejet. The original baffle is about 3 inches as I say with a piece welded onto the outtake. The replacement is about 5 inches but not closed off. As it only a kind of 'chicken wire' arrangement I should be able to, perhaps, pinch the ends together gradually until I get the desired sound. Very much trial and error, although, hopefully more trial and less error!! | |

| Well, you'll laugh. I did try one weekend. I downloaded some of the first piccies onto photo bucket and transferred them into the showroom the link to each photo came up but when you clicked on it it didn't show photo! So deleted them and haven't got round to trying again. Lazy so and so. I'll get the lady to look into for me I think. | |

I remember that I saw them and was in the process of correcting the links and they all disappeared  As for the conversation further up the page regarding jets, all spot on. | |
