Hydraulic clutch pushrod.

I recently removed the slave cylinder of my Intruder 600  and as instructed by Haynes, withdrew the clutch pushrod to inspect for wear. I have re-inserted the pushrod, but now cannot get the slave cylinder to seat properly. I think this is because the push rod did not go all the way back home. I cannot see a way of getting the pushrod back in fully. Is there any other solution other than a full clutch-side dismantle.
I'm guessing that the 600 and 800 intruder share the same crankcases.

In the end I managed to get it bolted up by pushing the slave cylinder piston back into the cylinder a bit. I had cable tied it to stop it expanding but it had obviously expanded a bit so was pushing on the pushrod. Clutch works OK now.

Nice job.   I wasn't even aware of a 600 Intruder.      I see it's a VS.
