New Battery For C50T

Just got a new battery for my c50t £27.00 from bournemouth battery centre

Crikey that's bloody cheap, do you know how many cold cranking amps it puts out?

not sure on that i phoned suzuki and they quoted £67.50 plus vat

by the way its an exact replacement for what i took off the guy cross referneced the numbers so what came off went back on . last year my son got a replacement for his VS800 boulavard and was the same price the guy put the fluids in while i was there and sealed the battery up this outfit supplies most of the bike community around here just does batteries and good service to

If a Suzuki battery can go down in a short period at the price of them then what have you got to loose

I think the battery was about 6 yrs old as you know i got it from the states 5yrs ago at the end of the season so the bike was probably crated at the dealers for 6 months. i only use bike in summer time so doesnt get run in winter but all in all i thought 6 years was good going , the new battery is identical to old one code numbers etc etc i was just shcked at the suzuki price somewhere in the region of £80 so i thought £27 was brilliant just shows big mark up at the dealers. i think it is luck of the drawer with batteries.
