Hi guys nice to find a Uk site dedicated to these bikes :) Ive only had mine 2 months now. ( my first "big bike" ) Im loving it, ok so its factory standard and quiet as a mouse but I plan to change all that!

The last few days she has been missfiring and having a total lack of power off and on, so today Im changing the plugs see if that helps. Im thinking about a K&N filter change and either a stage 2 or 3 rejet so I can then debaffle them pipes and let some noise out. Is there a good supplier of jets in the UK? otherwise Im going to have to buy from the states spacerjim seems to be the man over there.

Hi Dan welcome to the site, the m800 was my first 'big bike' too. In the process of changing all those little issues like you described, e.g the lack of noise. I currently get a polite breaking of wind when I twist the throttle, rather than a nice rumble. Bit by bit i'll get there. Hope you find the forum useful, lots of very helpful characters here

Welcome Dan, Good to have you on board
Sounds like you have a few things that need looking at with your bike, this ain't the area for it so we will just leave it at hello for now. However a quick response to the back firing is to run a fuel cleaner through about 3 tanks of fuel at 3X normal strength, that will very often sort out a variety of issues but this isn't really the area for it. so we will leave it at that for the mo
