| Nice work!
I'm guessing the led pods had the resistor built in for 12 volts.

| No resister required, the led lights are just working as extras along side the new standard after-market indicators that have been fitted! | |

| As Dave said, there is know need for a resistor C/B, as they are wired into and work in conjunction with the correct voltage / wattage indicators they flash at the same speed , but they do have a polarity ,so will only work when wired live to live neutral to neutral . |

| So you wired them in series with the turn signal bulbs using the existing bulb resistance as your control resistor? | |

| Technically the tester can refuse the MOT if one or more directional indicators are obscured, However if he is that much of a cock it would be the last time I ever went their! With my scrambler I had no indicators fitted at all but if you have no indicators you must have no rear pegs fitted either if the vehicle can exceed 30mph! | |

ps Don't tell F%"$in Bennetts Its not due its first MOT until 2014, but i will move them for that, and your right they are obscured by the fork to anything directly in front up until about 250 yards, but they start to come into view to on coming traffic at about 18 degrees (hence the LEDs), but in the evening and at night the LEDs are brighter than them anyway, I'm gunna av to ride like this . |

| Right I have just got this from the MOT criteria - MOT criteria wrote:
- The precise position and angle of visibility of direction indicators are not part of this inspection, but they must be on each side of the longitudinal axis of the machine
So they will not fail on there positioning at all, so leave them where they are

| Man, you guys are sure concerned about those MOT inspectors.
I took a BMW R100 for a state inspection here. I had bought it wrecked and done quite a bit of work on it so when I get home the wife asked if the inspector looked at it real closely when he inspected it. Oh yeah I said, he stared at it for at least a minute longer than he usually does when he looks outside at a bike through his office window.
This doesn' happen anymore though 'cos they now have to photograph the odometer and frame number and licence plate so the old geezer has to get off his butt for his $10.

| don't have to worry here bout state inspections..Kansas don't have'em..only inspection is when you buy a vehicle out of state and then the title and vin needs looked at.. | |

| I know they are pretty tough on bikes in the UK. My neice had to fork over a bundle to have a horsepower limiter fitted to her GS500! This is her renting a Harley in Vegas: | |
