vs 700 final drive - does this fit into VX 800 ?

hello dear all - hello dear Community,


i ride a VX 800 - VS 51 and i am very very happy with it - expect the gearing.  Ive hearde boud the DJ-Mode and also that some guys applied such a mode  to the vx 800 -

one of the guys is alan - or Vishnuisgod

As i am musing about getting  some parts for the work  - i have an offer of a vs 700 final drive. the question is: does it fit?  can i work with that!?

I have spent 45 min looking for the answer. Darn search results and google give waaaay too much info.
Are the 700 intruder and the 800 intruder using the same drive hub? I was told by a guy at the drag strip
that they are different ratios, just gotta know if he was blowin smoke. Cheers! Alan

I used to ride a 700 the final ratio of the 700, 750, 800 & S50 are the sam

well that would be just great - can anybody wait if we re not sure how the old bike vx 800 can be runned with a modified Vs 700 final drive...
