| Hi all, just going to pull the trigger and buy an 800 Intruder on line without riding it! I’m 6ft3 and 21 stone. Will I be too big? | |

| The Intruder is a big bike with comfy seat and large tyres. You should be ok but sitting on a friend's or a dealer's before on-line purchase would be advisable for height. As for weight, it depends how fast you want to go - bigger engines maybe better but only a test will tell. Maybe a nearby member can help - where are you based? Otherwise buy and sell later which is what many do if the bike turns out wrong (been there, done that!) Other than that, you have chosen one of the most liked cruisers on the market, with fair power, so chances are, it'll be fine. If you can, try an 1800 or similar. I've had two C800's and found them a tad under powered but the drop dead gorgeous looks made up for this! I'm 6' and 14 stone. It is down to your expectations really - we are all different! | |

| , I'm around 17 1/2 stone & about 5ft 9" or so & I find it very comfy. I'm near Derby & have a friend in Nottingham who has one but he's taller than me & he say's it's quite comfy. | |

| Hi and welcome, As you’ll see from my forum name I’m a big feller too! I enjoyed riding my Intruder, it felt good. Like you I’m 6’3, and I felt a bit cramped in the hip, so added forward controls which pushed my feet about 4” forward and made a world of difference. It was a fairly easy diy fit. I got highway hawk ones which weren’t cheap, and to be honest, I didn’t rate the chroming... rusted in places after a couple of years. Good luck and enjoy the bike | |

| Thanks all...I’ve held fire for the time being. I’m going to try an 1800 Intruder first to see how I get on with that. | |
