Do I Need A EFI Mapper or Not....

Sorry but i'm still at a loss here wondering what to do? So who's fitted Vance and Hines pipes and nothing else? How dose the engine run? Do you really need to fit a EFI tuner? Does the engine really run lean? The pipes that came with my bike (not fitted) look like they have been running rich up at the exhaust port as they are a deep sooty looking black? I'm just after that better sound not more power and still wondering if i really need to buy the EFI mapper?

All ok! Decided i'd give one a go anyway, so ordered a FI Tuner and K&N air filter to go with my Vance & Hines Exhaust... thumup

I think the exhaust on its own is ok .. but air filter alteration needs mapping.
