| Hi, had anyone for any ideas how to get a key out of the fuel cap. I took the tank off to replace the seals on the fuel tap. I left the cap open with the key in it. I've gone and kicked the key and snapped it off with nothing showing. Yep total clutz Jimbo | |

| Hello, I have been in this situation twice, my remedy was successful once and failed once but maybe It will be a win for you and well worth a go. Clean the two broken ends of the key as best you can with something like surgical spirit and when dry put some decent quality super glue on the key end and stick it on to the broken piece in the lock,,, give a few seconds for it to dry and then gently try to extract the broken piece. As I say it worked once and I think the failed attempt was because the broken piece had turned slightly in the lock and jammed. If you still have not got the broken bit out you lose nowt by giving it a try | |

| Thanks, it's stuck in there . I've spent ages with tweezers trying to turn it a bit but no joy. | |
